@webjac @timsev @kaidu @rzeta0 @EUCommission Yeah but if you are deep into the ecosystem and you lose your phone or it breaks, the reality is you probably end up buying another iPhone even if it’s in the second hand market. I think we should welcome this laws because it benefits the consumer, and most importantly try distinguish the bs big companies say in order to keep imposing their monopolies. And I said this being balls deep in the ecosystem and loving their hardware

Have you heard of Apple's decision on the rollout of Siri AI in Europe?@rzeta0 @webjac @EUCommission The issue is it’s not that easy to switch between these walled gardens after people have been going deep for decades, hence politics like these to force opening new features to avoid an even bigger monopoly. It’s ridiculous we could not set a different default browser other than Safari until a couple years ago, or use alternative app stores, isn’t it?

Have you heard of Apple's decision on the rollout of Siri AI in Europe?@webjac @EUCommission That’s exactly the point, to be able to have the choice to select which AI we get to use on our devices, and if Siri is actually the best and the most privacy focused, people will choose it. This time, Apple is not allowing people to make that choice. They are actively limiting features to a whole region to keep their control over their products, like they have already done with iPhone mirroring, for example.
