2/2 Most importantly - your English is fine. We understand you fine and your efforts to include are highly appreciated. The accent doesn't matter and you'll get better as you talk more. Maybe practice with lightning talks and talks at smaller events if you're insecure, but know that despite many German voices that say otherwise, most internationals will gladly overlook imperfections for being welcomed by you through language

If you want the international community to engage with you and your topic, it is highly appreciated by many if you hold your talk in English. Be the live translation as good as it may, it does not invite to interact with you and your topic if your talk is in German. #39c3
