VS Code was bumming me out a bit, so I decided to try using the #KDE Kate Editor. I've hooked up Ruff as a language server. I need to find a way to change the application (not editor) font to #ComicMono. There is still some IDE-stuff I haven't checked out, including a project view, testing, and the git integration. I normally did all of my git stuff in VS Code via the terminal anyway, so it's no big deal on the last one.

I believe there is an TFM to R, which I have bookmarked to read. As I gave the same effort for VS Code, I'm going to write up a keyboard shortcut cheat sheet on an index card. I really enjoy a good keyboard interface.

If any wizards have any advice on how to best use this particular bit of magic, I would greatly appreciate it. Are there any plugins/external programs that are helpful? Are there any cool features that might not be obvious? Are there any handy shortcuts you've made?
