@adamshostack @violetblue Wow, this seems unbelievably asinine. I was going to comment, "what dipshit municipality approved these vehicles as street legal", but then I saw Texas. So dumb.

Tesla put its breathtakingly ugly Cybercab on Austin streets Thursday: it has no steering wheel, no pedals, and no door handles. -
Is keypassXC problematic?@da_667 This is exactly right. Everything in computers now is accepting the least bad choice.
What I really hate is, we keep having to remake the entire battery of choices again and again and again!

Oh yeah shouldn't be too hard to use tech without supporting bad actors.@JessTheUnstill @ellesaurus I agree with Jess. Like most things, technology and software “badness” is a continuum. And sometimes, you’ll have to make the least bad choice.
A good example is work. Would I like to skip using MS Office altogether? Sure. But my employer doesn’t give me a choice.
So, it’s important to choose wisely when you have that choice. Do what you can.

A new progress report on living with (Net)BSD, with some artistry, too.@nina_kali_nina Thanks for sharing all this, Nina. The journey is fascinating. Some of us (me) aren’t as smart as you and maybe can’t complete the same journey… all I know is, I have the same thoughts and feelings.
