(2/3) thanks everyone for the support, we will keep pushing forwards. onto Tehran!

(1/3) really rough stuff.
starting to feel sick but there was nobody so i had to push on. once in the valley i ran into the guy from the intro who gave me a biscuit. there were lots of families chilling by the river and almost all of them invited me for tea.
we raised over €7000 in August thanks to all of you! WTF. incredible. please talk about my project to your friends and see if they want to sponsor any amount. even already €0,50 per 100km helps a lot. really really.
last video of the very remote mountains of Northern Iran. sun was beating down on me and it was really hot and then i took a wrong turn that cost me about 1 hour. (continues in comments)
i don’t think the grapes had morphine in them. i blurred that scene because i don’t want anyone to get into trouble. you never know, iran is a scary country. (continues in comments)
even street vendors here give you their wares for free. bizarre.
along the Caspian Sea all of a sudden i feel like i’m in a jungle. (continues in comments)
now it was Mehdi the legend, stopping right when i was exhausted by the heat. He stopped and said: “bike in car?” and I said: “yes”. and then we drove 10km. like it was nothing. he didn’t want money. was it rude that i hid it? tell me iranians.
and: when i stay at a guest house, is it polite to bring some gifts? some nice fruits? i feel like it would be part of ‘Taarof’. right?see you tomorrow!
cycling in Iran so far has been like that “trust fall exercise” for me (dutch white boy). in low moments, there always seems to be somebody to help out? (continues in comments)
