@tanyakaroli I saw them in NJ years ago thinking they were a legitimate dance troupe. But, their performance is rife with propagandistic hagiography. In addition, the group has been credibly accused of abuse of its dancers.

@aburtch My understanding is that there is at least one prime minister whose name showed up in the un redacted documents. I don’t care if his reputation is destroyed if his name is un redacted. The sexually abused young girls’ lives have already been destroyed.

@aburtch I saw Rep. Jamie Raskin sputtering yesterday after having seen the un redacted files . This tells me that there are a lot of Democratic people in those files and not just politicians. But also men (& women) who work in universities, think tanks, corporations and nonprofits, who are known as liberal-minded people. He seemed flabbergasted. These names must all come out — starting with the “six people” he mentioned when he spoke to the press yesterday.

Sub-zero temperatures outside as snow swirls in winds blowing south from Canada. Through large windows I count at least eight whitetail deer nestled in deep sloping snowbanks in the woods behind our house. Amidst towering bare deciduous trees and a few thick pines, they sleep, snow and ice crusting upon their dark grey coats, their eyes closed. Meanwhile, wrens, dully colored female cardinals and woodpeckers dart around, pecking at seeds on the snowy ground that spill from a bird feeder. #snow

@tinfoiling The US feels so barbaric right now, with our loose gun laws, mass shootings, a terrible health care system, unbalanced wealth distribution, curtailed abortion access, racism, uneven educational system, heavy reliance on unsustainable energy sources, increasing anti-vaccine sentiments and an outdated constitution & political system. At least we have excellent universities, majorities of decent people, creative pop culture & music, hardworking scientists & entrepreneurs & resisters.
