@dave I was fully unaware of this. And as far as I understood from the comments, this has been filed as an issue and has been ignored by the developers.

I love mastodon. And I really think it should be like this for all the people.

Maybe it helps, if we adress this publicly? Like we expect men to act up on sexual violence instead of just shrugging it off as "never happened to me, can't be that big of an issue".

@Pepijn I had nothing but horses on my mind when I was growing up. Started vaulting when I was 7 and riding about two years later. I earned it by helping in the stable and with the smol kids vaulting lessons. Stopped when I was 18.

I guess it depends on where you grew up if you even regularly see horses... The swiss government payed farmers for breeding and keeping military horses. In the 90s it was pretty common for farmers to have some horses for that purpose.

@arrrg @leavex basically all of my extended family, my neighbours, all of my real life contacts. Quitting meta makes my life isolated. I stil use whatsapp, but plan to cut ties within the next month. Daunting, because everything from organizing social events, mom groups, person to person interaction, everything is on whatsapp. All of my real life things rely on whatsapp, because all the people I know, refuse to leave and don't have an additional account on another service...

@perjakobsen I'm swiss, but the dependence on a US payment service on such a large scale seems troublesome to me, too.

My personal and maybe unpopular approach is trying to use cash more often. Trying... Because most of the times I forget to get cash in advance, because I'm so used to paying by card.

It seems wild, that europe doesn't have their own solutions ready, right?
