When she met my wife for the first time, her only advice to her was ‘take care of her brain’. My wife was like ‘why?’ My mom said ‘because her brain is very big.’

This is all funnier in Chinese.

She has so many zingers. One time, a scammer called and tried to convince her to pay money to see photos of ‘your husband having an affair’. She was like ‘my husband is too cheap to have an affair’

I once heard my 70 year old Chinese mom describe my internet persona to her friends: ‘many strangers tell her she’s awesome on the Internet. They also want to give her things. And advice.’

I don’t know what to do with that.
