It seems some bastard is building an app that scrapes your Mastodon feed and uses an LLM to summarise posts every hour, and I feel I could do that for free and without the massive resource costs and privacy violations?

@afewbugs do they use their own electricity at least? Or are they using some data center from a shitty corporation? By the comment about privacy I guess it's the latter.
