It's so all over. I viewed an apartment. The showing person said, "Reply STOP to make the AI stop texting you, but you can still text me at this number and I'll see it." Everyone has to arrange our lives to bypass it.

I've gotten AI reviews in my sci-fi critique group (it seems the mods have cracked down thankfully) and they all seem to be designed to move the convo to email and then offer "pro" editing. I also submitted stories to a magazine offering pro rates; they rejected each story within two hours with an elaborate critique and an offer to edit more for $20.
