@ahatchettjob It's not quite what you're asking for, but the answer to this is kind of a combo of features.
Content warnings are useful if you're about to dive into something potentially upsetting and want to give people the choice of whether to read it or not.
Hashtags and keywords can be filtered, so people don't need to see topics they don't want to see.
The ability to follow hashtags means you don't need to follow someone's account to get just their toots you're interested in.
And you can also disable boosts from someone who tends to boost things quite different from their actual posts.
Probably makes it all sound complicated but what I'm basically saying is your followers have lots of options to customise their feed and you don't need to worry about it beyond tagging things correctly.
