We were actually talking about how this beach differs so much from one we went to a lot as children- (Pacific/Laguna). Always a big surf there— fun to play in. This one on the east coast has an offshore wind which flattens it out.

Seafood would have been most appropriate, but I had that for lunch. So, just a simple salad. The atmosphere was ideal— could have been eating sawdust and it would have been just fine.

Could hardly leave. Stayed well into twilight. Great temp, light wind, gentle surf that we listened to as the sun set.
