@luatic @grote Come on now, this *only* makes sense as a security measure. It doesn't make sense as a way to lock down the phone totally, because then they could just... lock down the phone totally.

It absolutely makes sense as a response to the attack vector of tricking someone into installing malware by telling them to turn on developer mode, though.
