If Digital Ocean has decided that CSS-Tricks is — in the most generous weasel-coded terms I can muster — no longer a value-add given their current goals, and they don’t want the potential backlash from shuttering it hanging around their necks anymore, well, they have emails awaiting their responses.

Digital Ocean ended their $50/month sponsorship of GNOME and FlatHub and went radio silent on CSS-Tricks right around the time they found a spare three million dollars to burn on “sponsoring” a high-profile racist’s dotfiles repo.

Impossible to see this as anything but a statement of their values.
