We at Vivaldi are the only browser company with a Mastodon server. We have chosen to support the Fediverse in every way we can. We will continue to do so as we need options away from Big Tech.

@jon@social.vivaldi.net Learning this today made me switch to Vivaldi. Good priorities! Are you also working on integrating fediverse support to the browser in some ways? Not that I can exactly imagine what it would be, but I’m sure there are possibilities.

What we have done so far is to include Vivaldi Social, our Mastodon instance, as a panel and make it really easy for anyone that has made a Vivaldi account, also used for things like Sync, to set up a Vivaldi Social account.

Any Mastodon instance can be added as a panel as well.

We continue to look at other ways we can support Mastodon and the Fediverse as a whole.
