@everton137 @mellifluousbox Bluesky is a for-profit corporation with lots of money on the promise to its VC owners that it will enshittify in the future.Mastodon is mostly volunteers doing proper pro-user stuff, getting some money from donations and grants but nowhere near enough.The problem is money not going to projects that serve the public interest. If we rely on VC money, it will simply lead to more Twitter/X style bait-and-switch enshittification, as that's their investment model.

You can do this on the web inteface by clicking on the zoom icon in the top right corner or by double-clicking on the image.The zoom icon shape may vary depending on what version of Mastodon your server is running, but it will be in the top right.The maximum zoom is having 1 pixel of image to 1 pixel of screen, so that's why you can't zoom in on images smaller than your screen or the same size.

@brh @wx1g Yeah, if the app is doing some kind of non-standard filtering then it won't sync with the website or any other app.That's why it's a good idea to use the official filters because they should sync across the website and apps that support it.You might want to set up the filters on the website as the website is the reference implementation of Mastodon's features. That's why the web gets features first.
