this sounds like exactly the domain I would buy to scam visitors of the London Theatre

@eloy londontheatre.co.uk and *.com are other companies selling the same tickets. Quite weird. So likely the 'official' is not the theatre website either.

unofficiallondontheatre.co.uk *.com is available, if that is your kind of thing.

sitting in a cafe with a sign "please no laptops" while most people are using their smartphone

this feels like a hardware challenge in how far you can modify a smartphone without it becoming a laptop

@eloy I'd guess the intent is more about the directed physical effect
i.e. they don't want you taking up part of the table or making space on your lap to use the laptop

@eloy I've considered taking a keyboard and XR glasses connected to my laptop in my bag to cafés like this before just to see if anyone complains, but it feels a little too "how far can I push a boundary for the sake of pushing the boundary before I get in trouble"

@eloy I've been to one cafe where reading the internet on my iPad was forbidden, but an eBook was just fine.

@eloy@hsnl.social I wonder if combining keyboard+mouse with a usbc dock as well as bringing external display and then remoting into some actual Linux puter is still phone enough to be accepted
