        @eloy I'd guess the intent is more about the directed physical effect
        i.e. they don't want you taking up part of the table or making space on your lap to use the laptop

            @eloy I've considered taking a keyboard and XR glasses connected to my laptop in my bag to cafés like this before just to see if anyone complains, but it feels a little too "how far can I push a boundary for the sake of pushing the boundary before I get in trouble"
