Aside from the obvious (

️), other interests are history, nature/hiking, art (but not like big popular museums more so smaller collectives/printshops etc), and literature. Nightlife can get into pretty much anything if the vibe is right, but love dark wave, international, and Arabic. Also anyone I should talk to? Feel free to reach out by DM or email too. -

Marka, the forest surrounding the city is great for hiking, lots of paths, easy access by tram/subway -line 5 to Sognsvann say, inner city walks along the river Aker is nice, weed dealers hang around the part around Grønland but they're harmless. Tullinløkka, a stonethrow from the castle, is the bookstore district. Clothes on Grünerløkka, art galleries are all over.

Sounds like an amazing trip! Fall is such a beautiful time to explore those cities, especially with all the art and history around. I'm definitely here for those dark wave vibes too!

Also for @ shit, obvi go to Blitz. Annares is fine. Just another bookstore. I don't remember there being a lot of English, and it's kinda just "nondescript leftish" despite the name.

Top Oslo hiking / culture / get to know the city tip is to walk the Akerselva River from Maridalsvannet all the way downstream to the city centre. It's about 8km of meandering well-made path right by the river the whole way.
Take the tram out to the Technical museum at Kjelsås to start the walk.
