Can you tell the time on an analogue clock?

@MelissaBearTrix @TicklishHoneyBee In primary school I seem to recall a unit in math class about reading time on an analog clock. It continues to be my preferred way of telling time. (I have a watch that has dots on the number positions; I lift the crystal to read it.

@MelissaBearTrix Well I can repair analog clocks. Mechanical most of the time., quartz it's a replace the timing module. Digital, forget it, unrepairable, fault is usually under that blob of tar on the PCB.

@MelissaBearTrix During my last physical, I was asked to draw hands on a blank clock face to show a specific time. The nurse said that's a standard test they give after you pass a certain age.

Yea, and tho I prefer the numbers, I really like how the analog dials visually show the progression as a cycle, rather than "well you see this one resets to 00 after 59, but this one resets to either 00 after 23, or 01 after 12, flipping the morning/evening indicator one increment earlier"
