@FediTips FWIW, that tip doesn’t seem to work at least using Toot! on an Apple device as the mastodon app. I’d actually been meaning to post a question to you about that for sometime, but from what you say above, seems like it’s a bug in Toot!

Toot! is absolutely fantastic, the most fun Masto app, but unfortunately it hasn't been maintained in over two years
I'd strongly recommend switching to a different app as Toot! is just going to get more broken over time if it continues without updates.

Yeah, exactly! There is so much useful that even experienced people can miss, it's better to hear something twice than not at all.
