Perhaps even with higher orbits to avoid the satellite orbit pollution.Is this true? When will it be ready? How do we switch to it?

I too would like to know. I am almost entirely ignorant about this, in practical terms. My sense is that big projects take 3-5 years minimum, but that's not even a SWAG. I do know that launcher slot availability will be a question. -
