But wait, there's more!

Thanks to the recent PeerTube 8.3 update creators can submit their PeerTube channel to podcast catalogues so that people can discover it without having to manually add a feed address. For submission-friendly links go to your channel's management page and select "Podcast".

@FediTips Really good to know! Anybody have recs for fediverse podcasts?

@FediTips

I don't see any options etc for podcasts or RSS on my channel or its Manage page (on peertube.wtf, running Peertube 8.2.0)

But:

- I input the plain channel webpage URL into AntennaPod's "Add podcast by RSS address"

- Of 3 options, chose the middle one (something like "Subscribe to videos podcast feed)

- It works! I can download, listen, mark as played etc just like other podcasts

Yup, and the RSS feed option will work for channels on servers running an older version of PeerTube. This was how people subscribed via podcasting apps previously.

When peertube.wtf updates to 8.3.0 or higher you will see the podcast option explicitly mentioned.
