The first time Linkedin asks me to do any of this will be the last time I try to log into Linkedin.
At this point I only use it a tiny bit for work, but if this ID bullshit happens I'll be informing my boss that I can no longer do that.

@jwcph They always „ask“ to do this, can’t remember how many times they did. But as for now, it’s not required, they only „suggest“ to do this to seem more trustworthy, get more messages from recruiters etc. I hate it.

the first time they demand this. Hell, I already have to go through a death loop every time I log in because I refuse to allow cookies - my patience for LI is wafer-thin.

I can only encourage you. Dropped my LI account shortly before their aquisition by MS ≈ 10 years ago. Never looked back. It was BS even before it was MSLinkedIn.

@debacle I definitely agree, but also, I wouldn't have the pretty dang awesome job I have now if I hadn't used LI. Still, no loyalty on my part, that's for sure
