@tinker last weekend I visited a kids'-centric crafts fair and both traditional crafts and 3-D printed physical puzzles and toys were there, and my inner child went *nuts*.
If anyone GenX or older remembers the 70's era heavy molded Disney figurines (I had these), that was what spawned my nostalgia.

@tinker Clearly, high-status people were buried with such objects to ensure access to their analogue in the afterlife.
Edited to add: In the time before cheap data, one of my waiting for bus activities was guessing what would survive of my belongings & surroundings if we were, say, buried in ash suddenly. What would future archeologists guess?
