    Helen of Troy was born from an egg as a result of her father turning into a swan (or goose) and mating with her mother, who may have been either Leda or Nemesis.
    And let's not forget the 6-headed, 12-footed Scylla, and the half-bird, half-human sirens.
    I look forward to all the hiSToRICle aCCuraSSy.

      @Richard_Littler

      but is he going to do it in various dialects of Ancient Greek though? (Mel Gibson's "Passion" comes to mind). If it's AI generated junk, it is not going to be historically accurate.

      He's a total tosser.

          @Richard_Littler - he's do well to produce a 'historically accurate' history of South Africa first. White Dutch Afrikaners subjugating, enslaving and torturing the Black aboriginals.
          Doubtless plenty of bizarre in-breeding and hidden sexual activities with 'lesser beings' involved, too.

                                  We truly live in the thickest era of human evolution. You can forgive the ignorance of our ancestors because they had limited access to knowledge, but now the sheer volume of verified learning at our fingertips is unprecedented. Being so ignorant is a wilful act of self-defeating spite.

                                  @Richard_Littler In Elmo's case, it's also mental illness. He is not well. He's always been an arrogant, mouthy asshole, but by now he's also greatly self-deluded. He really believes a lot of his own bullshit, partly because he's increasingly detached from objective reality, and surrounds himself with people he's conditioned to lie to him (as many very rich or powerful people very foolishly do). He's deeply ignorant, but either doesn't know that (Dunning-Kruger), or tells himself otherwise.

                                      @bazcook I was reading last night about the history of South Africa, most of which I thought I already knew. It's very complicated and hard to follow. But yeah, the last few centuries have mostly been about European subjugation of natives. A familiar story, sadly.

                                        @Richard_Littler ...when you think about it, it does sound like a massive AI glitch...

                                          @Richard_Littler “historically accurate” and “ai generated” in the same sentence 💔 mind you this man is a trillionaire and still refuses to hire actors, writers, and a set crew.
