If they could get away with what Microsoft is doing to computers to force all those people to buy a new car, they would. Hell, MS doesn't even sell laptops; if anything car manufacturers have an even greater incentive.

    The tech industry is an ongoing reminder that left unchecked, capitalism WILL destroy the world.

        @JustinDerrick Oh, right, forgot about the Surface, because I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild - let's just say it's probably not a main revenue stream for them, compared to automakers; I believe my point stands 😁
