I could not possibly agree more with this thread. It isn't just that we let the tech sector break the laws, just as long as they do it through an app - we also keep giving them carte blanche to break every semblance of a social contract the same way.

@mhoye is right; tech is deeply immature & it's time we demand that it grows the fuck up.
