How old am I? Old enough that I still never use special characters in file names, precisely because this kind of nonsense hides everywhere (although I probably would have fallen for this one, too).
For example, my home NAS runs on OpenMediaVault, which is great, except that not only doesn't it allow special characters - it fails the upload with a generic error message so you have no idea why it isn't working.
Just a reminder that any tech chain may have hidden legacy issues.

@jwcph Mixing upper and lower case can also have unpredictable effects. Just saying.

Usually I am the same, but I guess I had a weak moment there.
(Other things I do: never user spaces in file or folder names, and always end every text file with an empty line
