This has always irked me but - like so many things tech - it seems to be getting worse: Touch screens visually reacting to the touch but *not* doing the thing.

This has always irked me but - like so many things tech - it seems to be getting worse: Touch screens visually reacting to the touch but *not* doing the thing.
So tapping a button or whatever, it blinks as if to say "yup, got it" but then it doesn't actually forward the tap to the function in question, seemingly because I have to tap a bit harder for that...?
