I thought: this must be a misunderstanding and checked. It isn't. TV2-story (in Danish) below.The overall reaction is described as "Nej, ellers tak" which translates as approximately "Good heavens, no".

Thank you, Agreed.
However, as a Dane there's very little I can do. The overall political development of Greenland is kept from Danish power, by design. What happens to Greenland is for them to decide. Not the old colonial power (Denmark).
But I can support and cheer the people of Greenland as they choose their course. This reaction, I very much support.

@skykiss Also, none of the (albeit few) cultural institutions in Nuuk had time to make special arrangements for the visit.
