This, but in 2026, it's all AI agents with: ASK the butthole for help!

[cyberquixote@infosec.exchange]

@Viss @kajer I firmly maintain that the estate of Kurt Vonnegut should be suing the shit out of Anthropic over the Claude logo, which is clearly a derivative work of his illustration of a butthole from the book Breakfast of Champions.

[nosirrahsec@infosec.exchange]

@kajer @cyberquixote @cR0w In programming class (VB6)? No.

That would be highly unethical and I was a fucking perfect angel of a teen with too much knowledge and too little sense. (or care, because I was BORED?)

...allegedly

[nosirrahsec@infosec.exchange]

@kajer @cyberquixote @cR0w Do you know how legitimately difficult it was to find clean versions of backdoors and other various tools back then?

I mean, I imagine it was very difficult and caused a lot of headaches and intermittent footgunning.

[kajer@infosec.exchange]

@cyberquixote @cR0w @NosirrahSec

NetBus ~1998
BackOrifice ~1998

The school library was a battleground between myself using BackOrifice and another nerd using Netbus to remotely install and manage our respective distributed.net clients...

[cyberquixote@infosec.exchange]

@kajer @cR0w @NosirrahSec yeah computers are a crime
