yes the idea you can give exposure to things that shouldn't get exposure is a real concern
but come on! this is so insane!

plus he's had the website up for 2 years and got only 30 hits a day, only then going viral

You could say he gets points for, uh, diabolical marketing
But I tend to think it's an overexposed reveal of one dude's rather personal, honest, and quirky enthusiasms that went unintentionally viral
