In December my 2-year ProtonVPN subscription is running out. I had planned to switch to Mullvad, but Mullvad has come out as 50% nazi since.
Which VPN should I use, that works on Linux, Android, and GrapheneOS? I use VPN for everything I do online, except a few things that do not work with it, and German state services. I do not trust German ISPs and I do not want them to know what I am doing. Therefore the VPN has to be reasonably fast, private (no logging, independently audited), non-fascist (of course), no DNS leaks.

@rhelune I've been quite happy with IVPN since ditching Proton. Off the top of my head I think it matches what you're after, but I haven't double-checked.

@yama Thanks, will check it

@DamonWakes Thanks! Haven't heard of it before, will check it.

@rhelune I use Cyberghost, and have been happy with its performance. But on here a while back there was something about how many VPN companies have ties to the Israeli military or former Israeli military staff, so that’s worth looking into, should that be a concern.

@rhelune Another option I know of, besides the mentioned, is Windscribe. I haven't seen fascist shit from them but I'd still suggest double-checking. Also I'm not sure what it entails to support Graphene. Graphene can run Android apps, can't it, but maybe not all Android apps work on it?
Other than I guess another option could be a VPS + something like Wireguard or Headscale. But that's more work to set up, and it would be limited to one location.

@arratoon I found this. I think I am going to switch to IVPN. I just need to check if it has servers in all the countries I need.

@marcusxms Thanks, seems OK according to this, but I need to check if it has servers in all the countries I need. https://vpn.techlore.tech/

@rhelune Also that story is really wild. I hope the employees organize and fight back harder. The leak indicates some already fight back so that's good. But they need a change of leadership, not employees.

@marcusxms I was born in Yugoslavia where workers' self-management was the norm. Factories to the workers!

@rhelune @marcusxms Kind of funny is the Librem Tunnel entry, from Purism makers of the Librem 5 Linux phone, showing incompatible with Linux. I wonder how techlore is evaluating these?
Unfortunately, signup for Librem One services seems to be unavailable right now. (I didn't get a good explanation why. Purism can be pretty unhelpful for some things, but great on others.)

@rhelune @marcusxms I wish that techlore link had an "Uses AI" category.
