After 10,000 views of my latest video, the stats show that the external viewers arrive from

Mastodon 50 %
Facebook 6 %
Bluesky 2 %
Threads 0.4 %

When there is an algorithm, corporations decide whether posts with links to competing platforms like YouTube are visible to other users.

When there is no algorithm, we the users decide what is boosted.

Choose Mastodon! ️

Interesting to see such a low throughput from a supposedly open, left-leaning network as is Bluesky... Meta would obviously be a hard sell, with their embedded filtering.

Although I found out about Salvador Dali’s after riffing on his famous quote
