NAS is lovely but still a risk unless you also have an offsite copy. I have family members in different parts of the country but ideally I'd like to be able to keep a copy on the other side of the planet...
There's a fedi service waiting to be created! (how to stop it becoming just another cloud service?)

@OneInterestingFact @janeishly @CiaraNi My literal solution to that you’re running your regular machine backups to the NAS, the NAS is running its own state-save infrequent snapshots for your library data, and twice a year you copy the whole thing onto some slow-as-shit old drives (who cares if it takes a few days?).

Saving this thread for all the links. Thank you! I also saw a post saying that there were reports of injuries that suggested sound weapons were used by the US in Venezuela. This would be a very dangerous precedent. Untraceable. -
