@rooster It's funny when people start talking about the y- and x-chromosomes defining gender because it shows that they really just stopped paying attention to biology somewhere around grade 5. Those chromosomes only exist in humans, and even there they only have an indirect relation to sex (which is caused by different hormones being present at different stages of foetal development and how we get non-xx females and non-xy males, and probably plays a significant part in gender dysphoria).
