Report: Israel is manipulating AI platforms into blaming Palestinians, eg, for killing Hind Rajab.

Israel has created websites dedicated to manipulating AI platforms such as Claude & ChatGPT.

When users seek information, eg, on the murder of Hind, the manipulated chatbots produce “alternative explanations” (eg, that Hind could have been killed by Palestinian crossfire) alongside verified reporting.

@DrALJONES This is why I don't understand people making it out to be an unbiased authority on almost everything. Even if "hallucinations" didn't happen, all of them are influenced in one way or another that bends their answers to the prompt to whatever subjective worldview favours the highest bidder. It's why Grok calls itself Mecha Hitler and why people reportedly had issues with DeepSeek censoring Tienanmen Square. We already had problems with search engines being biased towards reinforcing your own worldviews before LLMs were advertised as a drop in replacement now that search engines are an empty husk of what they were.

Both see the ”AI revolution” as a huge propaganda victory.
