@Infrogmation
Does no one see the irony in wearing a crown to the "No Kings" protest?Fun iconography details: The Statue of Liberty's "crown" represents a radiate halo or nimbus, not a monarch's crown.

what was the reason of the police?
Good question! The wireservice photos where I found it didn't give reason of arrest. I don't know who the woman is nor what the charges or allegations against her were.
A quick search found this:KABC Los Angeles -- Tens of thousands of people rallied and marched peacefully through Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday before tensions escalated later in the night, leading to arrests and minor injuries, according to police.

@Infrogmation Well the original statue was already "on the nose": "liberty" for a country built on slavery and genocide.
But cute close second...

Cue the signature sound from an old (old!) cop show on tv:
Dumm! De-Dumm! Dumm! Dumb!How to give your opposition a big boost.
And she's grateful, I think.

@Infrogmation talk about symbolism
- men control what women are allowed to do
- police control what citizens are allowed to do
- the state restricts (individual) libertyall that in one photo!

@Infrogmation @epademyc
And you think Monarchs who systematically rule claiming divine authority and literally claiming to be god incarnate who used the crown as a physical representation of that authority to be passed down generationally as a physical indicator of the next embodiment of god weren't using the crown to represent divinity? That's all halos represent: divinity. And, that is exactly what most crowns were used to represent.A crown tells the world "I am the god"

@Infrogmation
This article contains another image of her...doesn't give specific reason for her arrest but does say they made arrests for "Failure to Disperse."

@l1f34sp1x3ls @Infrogmation @epademyc So in other words "Liberty is divine?" Cool, I like that.

In other words someone dressed up as a monarch was arrested at a "No Kings parade"... Sounds like the parade worked as planned. -

You wish. I'm not saying anything ban worthy or even controversial. Just pointing out the facts and a perspective that everyone seems to be blatantly ignoring.
It is paradoxical. From one perspective this looks like they are arresting liberty, but from another perspective, that is a monarch being arrested at a no kings rally.
Not my problem you're emotionally out of control when someone just points out facts and offended by reality.

@epademyc I'm wondering why exactly you think the statue of liberty depicts a "monarch"?
