@masek The problem is, every now and then I _do_ find a use for one. And the countdown to a cable purge is once again reset at ~6,300,000 seconds and counting.
I don't think I have ever seen that countdown hit zero.

Not sure about an official DSM-5 diagnosis, but it would totally make a great reality show. We'll call it "Coarders". -

@masek I’m glad I saved my old parallel laplink cable from 40 years ago. Came in handy when I needed to transfer some data off an old XT. :).

@masek @briankrebs Retro Computer Collector. I have regretted every old computer cable I’ve tossed. Not true of iPhone cables, though.

@masek is there a name for when you've thrown away the cables for a thing, then find the thing and, although obsolete, you wish you could boot it — but you can't because no cables?
