Bottom line: it's an investor scam. The people who wasted billions on AI R&D are looking for the "greater fool" to unload the investments onto, and need a fantasy project to convince people they can still get in on the ground floor of something. The point is that it's _really difficult_ to remove heat in space. Those datacenters will need to run at _much_ slower speeds than datacenters on Earth.

@sundogplanets Starlink is going to launch a satellite cell phone service, also most airlines are switching to Starlink internet service, so I think it is natural that they will need a lot more satellites. Starship is going to be able to deliver them into orbit.
