@ShredderFeeder We can absolutely win on issues of policy.

What we need to cut out is useful fool "purity" demands that every candidate must agree with you on every issue (or one particular issue in particular) or we won't vote - helping the Republicans win in order to teach "The Democrats" a lesson.

      @isaackuo

      EXACTLY.

Even if they're not 100% in agreement (and face it, NO ONE will be) vote for the one who most closely aligns with you.

7 million voters decided that not voting an allowing Trump to be elected was somehow the best thing for the world, as you said to "teach democrats a lesson"

And now we see how that's working out. Trump would be in prison right now if it weren't for them.

@isaackuo @ShredderFeeder @benroyce @CStamp @horqua @roknrol @mikelovesbikes @retech 100%, Isaac. I've been beating the drum of "Trump and Grassley aren't the ones sending their kids off to fight this pointless war" to anyone who will listen, because I think it is one issue we can actually woo former Turnip voters.

i'll give you my brutally honest response:

fuck your friends, your friends fucking suck. whiny useless cynics suck

            find new friends

            really. fuck entitled lumps

i know that's easy for me to say. but empty cynics will only grind your gears in the end, so a soft retreat at least is coming anyways

@benroyce @the5thColumnist @farbel @retech @DonChacale @spreadthetruth I agree with you. They all have kids, the only thing they give a fuck about is getting little timmy to soccer practice on time, not the downfall of their entire society. People are tired and can't think beyond themselves even a miniscule amount.

@ShredderFeeder I absolutely agree with you (and of course @benroyce ) on the necessary strategy.

I'm just saying that we can't accomplish this with the exact same "energy" as what people on the right are doing.

We care about policy. We have earnest internal debates on what the policies should be. What the priorities should be. I don't think that can, or should, be changed.

So we have to find our own way to promote voting.

@isaackuo It’s called putting on grownup pants, stop treating elections like popularity contests, stop thinking any person or party will ever be perfect. It is NOT difficult to look at 2 platforms and decide which one is better and which one is hell no. Seeing Spanky’s rallies with people holding up signs of “deport them now,” and him taking about revenge and electric boats and sharks should’ve been a “hell, no.” @ShredderFeeder @benroyce @horqua @scottmiller42 @roknrol @mikelovesbikes @retech

@ShredderFeeder Right? Then the felony, fraud convictions, the rape settlement, the likelihood of his being a pedophile, the contract workers who came forward about his having stiffed them, so many red flags. They knowingly elected a crook and a thug, and after having been shown to have been one of the worst presidents in US history, they elected him again. & purity voters let them. @isaackuo @benroyce @horqua @scottmiller42 @roknrol @mikelovesbikes @retech

"Russia’s economy minister admits ‘reserves have largely been used up’ while communist lawmaker warns of 1917-style revolution as #GDP shrinks"

Endless gloom and #doom stories about #Russia's #economy means you can forgive people for being jaded on the topic

They are correct that people saying #collapse is imminent are wrong

                      But

It's also wrong to conclude that Russia won't collapse

                      The truth:

                      It won't be tomorrow

But it also won't be never

                      Russia is in deep shit

@benroyce some good truth to it. RUS are strong in taking hardship = it takes a long time until they're fed up & can't endure any more. 1 significant point that tipped them to revolution always was starving. That's the line they draw. They will endure hell as long as they breathe if they are fed. As admirable this is, personally I like the FRA approach much better: don't gimme shit, I am gonna strike you to your knees we are all equal! Now show me your repsect & share the rights we all deserve.
