I don't know,
but maybe they can't think in terms of lives. Maybe they are only capable of thinking in terms of dollars.

@VeroniqueB99 I was just talking about this sort of large scale thing with my therapist today. What the fuck am I supposed to do to manage my anxiety when all the things I'm anxious about are threatening to kill everyone and are far too big for me to fix?!
