without empathy, corruption is law. in a world led by indifference to suffering, fascists can use racism, ableism, xenophobia, pedophilia, bestiality, ecocide, hate to thrive.
that’s why fascists need corruption to survive.

@blogdiva and when cultures socialize males to think that emotions are frivolous, or that emotion based skills/depth somehow diminishes “manliness", the culture helps to create that indifference. It helps to create folks so unskilled around emotions that can’t tell their own real motivations from a hole in the ground. So clueless they’ll buy any bs a successful looking dude tells them -because- they can be more easily psychologically manipulated (to use your own words from another post)
