On the contrary, MAGA ideologues want to build an international empire run by far-right political movements who serve the interests of American crypto, mineral and tech companies, especially if they have links to the president. Not very different, really, than the 16th and 17th century trading companies formed to extract sugar, spices, fur, etc from colonies. Like the Dutch East India or Hudson Bay companies. -

National Security Strategy is clear on planned US energy dominance of the world and an explanation for Venezuela, Iran, Canada, Greenland and Europe as a consumer (EU Trade Deal - 750 billion for energy imports from US). They have no sense of shame.

It really hammers down the fact that to a large extent democatic processes are not working in the US anymore, and that we should treat this as an actual political revolution of a certain class of rich people against democracy.
Also thr threat to Europe and democratic nations elsewhere, which is coming from from the US, has already leveled up to an active political interference campaign, already effecting our societies.
