Anyone else noticing an uptick of #Nazis on their feed? I blocked and reported another one. Third in as many days.

@CindyWeinstein I expect this to continue as we get closer to the midterms. There seems to be an understanding in the authoritarian community that their future is threatened by the public backlash.

Haven't yet - though I suspect a part of this is that I point a gimlet eye at any friends requests from the Usual Suspects, server-wise.

If they are afraid, let them be afraid. It is unlikely that they will suffer anywhere near half as much as they've caused others, they just (hopefully) won't be coddled for their hate. If that causes existential terror to them, they can grow up.

Mastodon to me unlike WhatsApp, Reddit, Insta etc seems to be a world of 'orange man & AI = bad'.

I'm a heretic but this world seems a bit of an echo chamber

I did see a couple borderline trolls in the replies to a George Takei post today.
