    Like, yes, LO is better but it's still riddled with MS legacy nonsense, like having to perform explicitly visual editing in several-click-deep popups with no preview, utterly unmanageable bullet lists, layouts etc. We know it can be done better because every single word processor that doesn't cleave to Word does.

    - and yes, familiarity lowers switching friction but again, I just wish...

      @jwcph I can't agree with this. LibreOffice is good, but Microsoft Office is still better. LibreOffice is good enough for most things, but if I need to do a truly complex spreadsheet? Excel destroys LibreOffice Calc.

      What's needed is for more governments to switch to LibreOffice and donate to the project, so that it gets better.
