I've plugged the toaster into a zigbee controlled outlet that will auto switch off after 120seconds of high power use.

@0xabad1dea I used to do that too! Solution was to take a book to the kitchen and read until my nostrils reminded me why I was there.

@0xabad1dea Sounds like a self-limitation rule I used to have: if I was drunk enough to accidentally spill some of my drink, I didn't need another.

(I say used to because these days biology provides the self-limitation and I've gotten a lot better at not spilling drinks)
