@energisch_ @petrillic Have a look at our current, right-wing government that cuts the income of municipalities, and then the impoverished municipality's elected representatives (in Kajaani, mostly agrarian centre+far right: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kajaani) go for anything that might give them quick cash.

Plus the agrarian centre party has always had a strong disdain for protecting the forests. So yeah. Neoliberalism and general "we can do whatever we please" going on.

Even if they would have, they don't have enough electricity for all the GPUs.
