A busy day at #Skoltegrunnskaien in #Bergen in the mid-20s. While the passengers on the docked steamship had to find alternative ways into town, the #train on the right was there exclusively for the goods.
The #railway tracks out here on the quay were opened in 1921 to streamline logistics, allowing cargo to be transferred from keel to wheel.
